I have an old pvs-7 with a crappy tube....wondering if it would be worth upgrading. What are my options? Are there still new tubes being made for these. I just kinda want a back up set of nods.

Can a photonis echo fit in a pvs-7?

Who sells just tubes? What should i expect to pay?

Thanks

What model pvs7 do you have? The type of tube is a mx10130

You can find used tubes on the used market, and then you can buy new from one of the vendors. However think of this, most tubes that would be worth buying for your 7 would cost almost the same as a new unit altogether in some cases. IMO its just not worth it to upgrade the tube unless you can find one cheap. There are some non gated refurbished units on ebay for 600 right now, but that is taking a chance.

There where a few on ebay, obviously they are used but it might be an option. Search mx10130 as was said above that is the tube for a pvs7.
