It's the AN/PAS-29A COTI attached to one of our L3 UF WP PVS-14s on a USGI weapon mount (our TM-14 MK III adapter won't work because both it and the COTI use the objective lock ring to attach) with the new TOR-MINI IR VPC that we collaborated with Steiner eOptics on, kind of a "poor man's" Fusion Weapon Sight, hahaha.
That being said, I'd be at a loss to tell you what it does better that way then simply wearing the PVS-14/COTI combination head-mounted and using the IR laser in the traditional fashion, I just did it as a fun little experiment.
The COTIs are at $5,495 retail and will work with any PVS-14 (and most other NVD monoculars, binoculars, and even bioculars with the appropriate adapter), and the TOR-MINI IR VPC will be $269 when it becomes available around the springtime.
Meanwhile, IMHO, this is about the perfect actual configuration for the TOR-MINI IR VPC:
The M300V gives you both IR and WL illumination, and the Unity FUSION mount puts it right in the perfect place for activation given the limited rail space on something like the Sig Rattler, which really benefits from a compact laser like the TOR-MINI, and the variable power control is great for the realistic scenarios a 5.5" 300BLK with subs would be most useful for while not giving up the ability to crank it into the full 0.7mW output and load up supers.
Makes for a great bailout gun, too if you're into such things!
