Hate to hear this, I’ve bought direct from a chris 2-3 times without issue, he even discounted me a set of ocular lenses when another “well reputed” dealer sold me a housing built with foggy glassed knock offs according to him and the builder.
Anyway, I had dissimilar experiences with him from the ones posted hear and I hate to hear about this for all involved. |

I'm looking for contact info for the new owner of some one could send it over to me.

I've tried to make contact with a few guys through various groups.
If you're still owed an outstanding amount of money, please contact me with your info. There are 7 guys that I know of, myself included. As of the past 2 weeks, my calls and texts have been ignored by both Chris Adam's and chris pipes(the new guys handling the situation). Something shady is definently going on. When I called Asymetrical solutions, the woman i spoke to did not have a clue as to what I was talking about. Though she confirmed chris pipes works at one of their locations. |

I inadvertently bought something off of Ebay from him recently and after several weeks I filed with Ebay and got a refund.
So evidently nothing has changed there. This is a big problem with the pay upfront and wait forever types- shit changes, this industry and the gun industry in general has some crazy ups and downs- I've been in it almost 3 decades and have seen and felt it and it is the reason we own several businesses, a couple of which are not tied to the gun industry at all. If a company isn't managing it's AP well while charging customers upfront for something that won't ship for MONTHS, and they aren't staying on top of things, it's very easy to get all messed up "robbing Peter to pay Paul." The best safety for the consumer is not paying till the order is ready to ship, anything outside of that is very risky for the consumer and I've been in this business too long for anyone to tell me otherwise. If a business is managing their $hit right, there shouldn't be a major need to charge you 4 months before your order is supposedly going to be ready to ship. Argue it and makes excuses all you want, but I think this thread once again proves that logic. |

The Sentinel as a product will continue to be stable, though until things are fully back on track, we've discontinued orders (e.g.,) of the FDE versions. Most if not all Adams Industries products should fall in this boat.
We are not in any way involved with the management of what was Adams Industries in any way, but we have been in contact with the new ownership/management, and I know that the initial plan was to straighten up the mess that they inherited when they took Adams Industries on, which as I understand was fairly extensive. Unfortunately, we do not have any ability to directly affect any remedy that is being sought directly through the new ownership/management or by/through other vendors. New TNV/Sentinels are shipping, and will continue to be warrantied, maintained, and serviced through TNVC--there's a lot to this story, and I am not at liberty to share all of it, but if nothing else, the production infrastructure and ability to make and continue to make these products and the rights to do so remain intact, and while it may take a while to catch up to the backlog and make all customers whole, the products themselves are not "dead." ~Augee |

Quoted: Any info on whether or not the new owners have the right to produce the Paladin? View Quote I don't think so. Chris made it sound like he was still work on it and going to produce it. If that is the case, then I assume it is dead... Hopefully I am wrong and something happens with it. If the new owners have the rights to it I don't know if they would even be interested in pursuing it. I don't think they are interested in civilian sales. |

I wouldn't wait on the Paladin.
For a number of reasons. ~Augee |

Is it confirmed Adam's industries is still being bought out?
Word on the street is the buyer backed out... |

View Quote All of the credit card companies (Visa, MC, etc) frown heavily on merchants charging upfront for something that will not ship within 30 days, and you never received the product so the chargeback should be relatively easy. Sorry to hear about your situation. |

The guy could be a little more professional and give us the courtesy of a simple response.
I cant prove it or am assuming it is true, but it looks like there has been a lot of malicious intent towards Adam's. Thus causing it to roll down hill and impact everyone with open orders. |

Since most of ya'll are in the Sentinel game - anybody have suggestions for where I can find an anvis adapter for a sentinel?

The ANVIS adapters for the Sentinel are not typically sold separately, as 99.9% of Sentinel units are supposed to come with both dovetail and ANVIS adapters, thus they are not listed as separate products on the website. NFA stuff is a bit different in that their is more clear paper trails. An NFA dealer going out of business is likely going to be smart enough to find another dealer to finish the transfer, etc. versus worrying that the Feds are going to do an anal inspection on him over all the paperwork. I see people mention "nfa stuff" when lead times come up, but it's a drastically different thing with different paper trails. No one has to sign their life away for a Night vision purchase, pay the gubmint a tax stamp, submint DNA etc. Completely different thing. Being in business almost 28 years now I've seen a ton of places that seemed rock solid that were hemorrhaging cash and in debt out the ying yang. Then the proverbial "rob Peter to pay Paul" thing happens and the end result is what you see in this thread. |

Some people were refunded via paypal dispute and through credit card companies. The lucky ones.
He flat out robbed me of 12k for a product he supposedly had in hand. Damn well hard earned money. It's a shame a crime like this Is so easily committed and gotten away with. Word from the horses mouth is he acquired a cnc machine and is attempting to make housings. |

Like I mentioned I bought some stuff on Ebay a while back and I didn't realize it was from them. I waited the minimum amount of time and when I got no tracking, etc. and his feedback showed 3-5 new negatives for similar non shipping deals, I contacted Ebay/Paypal who refunded the money. Always pay with a CC if you can, at least then you have some recourse. Wiring money is risky as many have found out in this thread. Visa/MC frown on charging upfront for any item that will not ship within 30 days. Look for the same principal(s) to be in back in business under a different name at some point in the future...... |

I have bought a few directly from Chris over the years, really sorry to hear that his business went under. More sorry to hear that some people got stiffed in the process, he was always good to me. I stripped the bridge out on my sentinels and he fixed them for free.
I didn’t know him outside of our transactions but I’ve seen other businesses try to stay afloat by doing the robbing peter to pay Paul model. Sometimes it works as a stop gap measure but usually ends badly. |
|
The guy should be in jail for theft.
Some people on the FB groups were trying to make it sound like they were still in business. I hope that guy isn't still trying to sell stuff to unknowing customers. |
