It is significantly harder than it should be to look this up on the manufacturer’s websites. Any of you pros have the quick answer? My vortex venom’s are still really bright at night even on their lowest settings.

RMR or Holosun 507c.

You can use your vortex, ff3 or w/e, just get a 720nm filter for the objective lens. I believe thats the filter type I dont know for sure.

I have a few of the RM08G's, and they do just
fine in front of my TNVC-PVS-14.

No RDS is really safe even through they have NV settings. The trick is to not have it in the same spot for long periods of time.

Can somebody tell me more about this?

Although it's technically not a NV setting, my Leupold Delta Point Pro works extremely well under NV at the lowest setting in indoor and outdoor settings. From 3 yards to 200, I can make effective hits with it.

A buddy trying it out for the first time:

the T-1 and RMR 06 are what i normally recommend to folks. I am anticipating the release of the Aimpoint P-1

I have seen you recommend the RMR 06 numerous times. Is there a reason you don't recommend the RMR 07? Is the 6.5 MOA dot too big for NV use? I am going to be setting something up here shortly and I'm very curious about this. Thanks.

Look at the popular red dots on the market for rifles.....what ones are 6.5 MOA?
The smaller the dot the more precise it is at distance. under Nods I've hit out to 200 yards on a big steel plate

Ok thanks. I just wasn't sure if the larger dot was blooming too much or something. I haven't shot a red dot under nods yet.

You're not going to burn in the tube unless you have the dot at exactly the same spot for a long period of time. I don't even need to adjust my RMR. The auto adjust is fine.

ETA: I use the 6.5 MOA dot on my pistols. I usually cranked up my old 3.25 MOA dot to make it look bigger. I have had zero issues with this dot size. The dot will be 3.25'' at 50 yards. How often are you going to shoot handguns past 50 yards?

I tried to compile this over a year ago.  Here's where it landed: https://www.ar15.com/forums/armory/List-of-NV-compatible-pistol-reflex-sights/18-478223/

I've been using #8 with great results.  See that thread for pic of the dot.

This is the first time I've heard this.

OP, I use the T1 and RM06 under nods just fine. An RMRed pistol is a must for nods.

That is fine. It is more for if you are mounting a pvs14 behind it and keeping it there for extended periods of time. It's never going to burn in when head mounted on NV settings.
