Better than Gen 1, not as good as Gen 3?

Not sure about the gen2's. But I had one of the gen3's that looked just like it. The optics on them suck. Not as clear as pvs 14 optics, but my biggest issue is the optics aren't true 1x. It has a little magnification. Maybe around 1.25-1.5x, but it's very noticeable when trying to walk around with it. Also, the IR led doesn't have a very even throw. It's pretty narrow and has a dark ring.
