I have the below weapon mount, but my AimPoint sight is way too low.
Can someone tell me what AimPoint mount to use so the NV and the AimPoint line up? Thanks

Looks like a PVA-14 to ACOG mount to me.

You have the USGI PVS-14 Mount. It will line up with standard Aimpoint mounts that produce direct cowitness with iron sights. What kind of Aimpoint do you have?

I have an AimPoint CompM. (I know it's not NV compatible, but I've had it for years, and wanted it the weapon-mount option for emergencies) Thanks for the help. |

The D300 and the PVS14 have the same weapon mount. The Aimpoint mount you want is the standard height QRP2. It's not on our website, but we do sell it. Give us a call.

Okay. I looked at the recommended mount, but that would still be about 1/2" too low. Data sheet says the ring height is .64. The one I have is about an 1/8" ring height.
The sight is about 1" below the NV. Maybe the D300 has a different distance from base of mount to center of lens than the PVS14? Any ideas? Thanks |
