Why do you guy have so many bungees?

I think the ones on my Ops-Core rails are more than enough but curious to see if there is a benefit for more.

pictures are crap, ill get some better pics this evening. PM your address and ill send the strap if you want/need it.

ETA just added the 4D pads. kept the original TW crown pads and added the comfort pads to get desired fit/comfort level.

Are those the ops core or ach 4D pads? I have both an ops core and TW helmet and love the 4D pads but prefer the cam fit of the TW. I was unaware I could put the 4D in my TW helmet.

Just got my 4d pads installed. G11 in order to replace my old rhino. I hate that the rhino makes me run the nods close to my eye to keep movement down. Hopefully the new mount fixes that.

The cord on the top is a 3.5 adapter so I can listen to tay tay while on operations in my moms basement.

Use a t-Rex lanyard in the open spot of Velcro.

My two helmet options for my TNV Sentinels with L3 Unfilmed WP tubes.

Ops Core Maritime
Peltor Comtac III's
Unity Tactical MARK adapters
TNVC Mohawk
S&S Precision Manta Strobe
Wilcox L4G24

Ops Core Carbon
Peltor Comtac III's
Peltor ARC Adapters
TNVC Mohawk
Core Survival Hel-star 6 strobe
Wilcox L4G24

The standard Ops Core padding sucks. Do you guys prefer the Ops Core Lux Liner? Or the 4D pads?

The only issue I have had with the 4D pads is that they freeze in the Winter. They belonged to a friend and it was super cold out so I never got to see how comfortable they normally are.

I've never used the Lux Liner, so if those use gel too then I assume it would have the same problem.

Yeah I noticed that too.  Put the helmet on though and 10 minutes later they warm up and are fine.

I run a lux liner with a few 4d pads in certain location. It took 6 months to get a vented lux liner from ops core though.

I would do the exact some thing again in a heart beat.

@Zac87

they are the ACH 4D pads. i removed the front and rear TW brown pads. The top/crown pads are a mix of the factory hardfoam, brown, and comfort kit pads.

Goodies showed up from TNVC to get my lid ready for a Sentinel with ball detent. TNVC Mohawk MK2 G2, Lid Snake, and Echo Arms Fast Attach.

Wasn’t a fan originally of the Mohawk but now that I have a battery pack - big fan! Now I can just take off a big chunk of NVD stuff in one pull and the X300V now points in the right direction 👍

Looks like my 4th just became super awesome. Thanks @Chosos, @lilMAC25, @mustangduckk, @TNVC_Augee, and @TNVC_Sam so I could get this rig together. In particular Augee for answering all the dumbass questions I kept sending him (ok, he didn’t answer the last one probably because it was the dumbest lol) and Sam for going above and beyond. Especially considering I bought a used device.

Will have to wait until closer to zero dark to get them outside. So far, I’m really digging the ball detent mount. Only issue is when setting the helmet down the rear lenses could smack/touch something.

How are guys mounting a surefire V1 with an echo arms velcro plate?
Scope rings?
vtac mount plus rail section?

trying to stay fairly streamlined

These showed up yesterday from TNVC and after I wore them last night for a couple of hours I almost bitch slapped myself for not buying them sooner. Highly recommend! I’d buy them while they’re still on sale. They are that much better. These are the non- OC pads inside my Exfil LTP.
