is it better to use one trust for all items or different trust with each item?

It depends. Silencer Shop has but together a really easy to use system for both Form 1's and Form 4's. The use a single use trust. If you go to Silencers you can read up on the kiosks and single use trust. With photos and finger prints now required for trust, I think SS's system comes as close to the ease of using a trust prior to 41f's implementation.

Unless you want multiple persons to have access to your NFA items there's no longer any reason for an individual buyer to use a trust at all, since the CLEO signature signoff requirement has been removed.

Other than that, it doesn't really matter. Creating a new trust for each item just requires you to be a little sharper on your paperwork and keep more trust copies around.
