Can an LLC purchase class 3 items the same as a corporation?  Does it have to have a physical address or can a P.O. box be used?

Yes, an LLC can own Title II weapons.  Georgia requires a physical street address for LLC registration for the "registered agent".  If your company gets filed with legal paperwork they have to have someone to serve as you cannot serve a PO Box.  You can pay another company or person to be your registered agent and use their physical address.  You must provide addresses for the LLC office and members, but I am pretty sure they can be PO boxes.

I don't know about GA, but in PA, an LLC is the way to go because it eliminates the hassle of yearly 'board meetings' and what not. I'm also told that LLC's you can structure to have a lot tighter control of the assets.
