this is my first AR build so I"m probably gonna ask some retorical questions. Sorry for that, But to begin,

Trust vs individual, Ive read the threads and I think i will go the trust route.
As far as engraving, seeing that this was built as a complete rifle will i still have to have it engraved? or can I use the factory S.N. Also I'm forming the trust because I have a set of twins,, now will their name have to be engraved on this also?
Any info would be helpful.

You will have to have the rifle engraved with either your Name, City and State (Individual) or your Trust Name, City and State (Trust) - depending on the route you choose - as you are the manufacturer of the SBR. I believe ATF has recently stopped accepting abbreviated trust names for engraving, so many suggest you keep the name of the trust short. I completed my SBR paperwork as an individual, so hopefully someone else will correct me if I am wrong.

The trust is the person making the SBR, thus the trust's name is that which must be engraved.

I would recommend simply using (Insert Your Name) Trust. I believe that it would help clear up any questions an RO or LEO might have if they look at your paperwork and see your name on it in the registrant and signature boxes.

OP- Have you looked into the availability of CLEO sign-off's in your town yet.

Gents,
In CT does the SBR F4 allow you to put a collapsable stock and flash hidder on the gun.  Sounds like it does not.  Or you all would not be SBRing Pre Bans.  Do you have CLEO's that sign off or is the trust route the only option?
