Yes, how will the sound compare? I know the 9mm may have a sharper sound. Im just trying to make up my mind on a 9mm ( seems to be standard first can ) and .45 ( only reason is the new XD45 ) ive never been a .45 shooter but after shooting the new XD im hooked.

Most quality .45 cans are really intended to be shot wet. I'm betting you'll be a little disappointed with the can dry. zzxx99 is toying with the idea of getting an AAC Ev0-45 though. If you tell him you are interested in hearing one it might be the push he needs to order one.  We don't stock the .45 caliber cans, but do have Evo-9s in stock. For that matter you should ask Doug to see the Pilot he just got from us. He's very happy with it on the Tactical Solutions upper he got for his Buckmark. I've got Pilots, Evo-9s in stock and you can hear my personal Evo and Pilot anytime you want. Just let me know. See ya. |

Don't you have a G19? You really should hear my Evo-9 on the G19. With 145+ grain ammo it is VERY quiet. With 115-grain ammo it is quiet, but no where near the subsonic ammo.

I will agree with BOOKHOUND. I go without hearing protection, dry or wet, but definitely prefer the latter.

Some of us are members up at the Pickens County Range (near Talking Rock, GA). We've also got a little place east on Conyers we sometimes frequent that allows cans.
How about you? Joel, when you gonna come out and play? Got get that new wife of your to give you the okay?

i did go to ed's in marietta, but usally wind up at ft. benning's english range because i don't like indoor ranges for rifles. we should set up a rendezvous to show the toys off and shoot tons of ammo...

Mr45Auto has a suppressed .45 ACP AR. That thing is a kick in the pants to shoot. Extremely quiet.
