Does anyone know what the availability of transferable machine pistols are?

True transferable machine "pistols" are scare, and pricey. I've only heard of a Ballester Molina and a Browning HP.

Autoweapons is listing a Browning HP for $15,000.

Last I heard, M93's were $20K.  If you can find someone selling their G18, that'll probably run $50K.

I didn't think there were any transferable G18's available. The regular Glocks were just starting to come into this country when the 86 ban took effect.

There are no transferable factory G18's.

And regarding 93R's, I did some digging and found there are supposedly 7 transferable Beretta 93Rs in the registry.  One of the receivers is made of titanium, and the other 6 are aluminum, all made by Tim Bixler.

I could be wrong on the G18, but I hear from here and there that a few (3 or 4) made it in.

Howabout a FA C96?

Hate to break up the party, but the G18 was not produced until after the 86' ban went into effect.  therefore G18's are strictly LE or class III dealer.  We have two at the shop and they are sweet.  I have seen a few Beretta 93's from time to time.  25000 was cheap on one.

SP89 with a registered sear is technically a macine pistol.

What about Stetchkins?

I'm sure there's a few in the NFA registry.

There was one from the bankruptcy/lidquidation sale of the Hollywood Prop company....forgot the name.

what about a full auto Mauser Broom Handle Model 712. I would think a few would be transferable.

Also, I though a few HK VP0's with the stock are on the list.

Other than that.

HK SP89/MP5K, IMI Mini UZI, Mirco UZI, and MACs

SAR had an article a few years ago about a handful of transferable conversions for S&W pistols and 1911s.

Shot a F/A HighPower in Vegas once.  It had a 30 round mag and a second grip on the top of the gun.  You shot it two handed with the pistol 90 degrees from where it should've been.  The thing didn't rise, it swept from right to left.  Fun to put a couple of mags through but (God help me) I'd prefer a Mac for controlability.  Of course, I'd prefer almost anything else to a Mac.

The only G-18's you see are the ones that are making the rounds around the SOT's. Buy it...shoot it for a spell...get rid of it...  IF you are an SOT they are not anywhere NEAR 50k. A more stupid bullet hose has never been made.

I think the SOT that let me shoot his said he paid like $400 for it, used.

Yeah, and the SOT can buy the Glock sear for $40.  Anyhow, shooting a G18 is a shitload of fun.

It was "OK".  However, due to being on an indoor range, and the SOT not knowing me or my shooting ability, he kindly asked that I stick to shooting bursts (no mag dumps).  But that's cool... I mean he DID let me shoot it!

The Glock was cool the first time I shot one, but then I tried a Beretta conversion, WOW. Much smoother, more controlable. Unfortuneately, I dont think there are any transferables. Not a 93R, a converted 92 select-fire.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubbles, but I physically saw a Glock 18 that someone was selling at the last gun show. He had a butt stock you could mount, and something else under the barrel as well, I think one of the window-breakers??? I know it sounds crazy, but it was a real Glock 18. I don't know how he got it/had it in the country, but it was the real deal.

He was obviously a C3 dealer, and it was a post 86 dealer sample... only transferable to LE, Govt agencies or other C3s with a demo letter.
