Had the chance to buy one of these in great condition a few years back for about $750. Thinking this year might be the year but now I want one I can't find one (not that i'm looking to buy just yet). What is a good price for one in good condition? $900-$1000?

I'd say higher, these days. $900-$1000 is on the low end for a Long Lee Enfield - a Metford Mk. I or Mk. II will set you back at least a few hundred more.
