Apparently this pistol was used by a psycho family member waaaaaaaaay back in the day to shoot their husband outside a courthouse.

Still digging up more details on the story from the inlaws, but I believe that the firing pin was removed specifically by request by the surviving family.

"Harrington & Richardson Arms Co. WORCESTER, MASS U.S.A." on the top of the barrel.
"32 CAL. S&W CTGE" on left side of barrel.

I know it's not worth anything other than what happened with family history, but just thought I would share some pics in case anyone here has more info.

Thanks!

From the pictures, it looks like it was well taken care of and is in beautiful condition. For someone who collects H&R's, it might be worth something.

From what I just heard, the husband was shot in 1930 so we know the pistol's age is around there or earlier.

Will keep digging...

You should get a firing pin for it. I have two old 32s, a solid frame and an H&R similar to yours except with exposed hammer. I also have two topbreak 38s. I think that they are fun to shoot and I wish that I would have bought a bunch of them years ago when you could buy all you wanted for $35 apiece.

I need to positively ID the model then see if I can even source a firing pin...
