New to collecting C&R firearms and want to add a Mauser to the small collection.
Not sure if a good, bad or indifferent price, approx $350.
German K98 mauser in "very good" condition, Insignias not peened out. Has import marks and
all parts don't have matching numbers. No accessories included. What say you.

To me, that's worth it, although on the high end and only if the bore is in excellent condition. Also, what year/code is it? That could make a difference to some people. Tell them you can buy one from SOG for $279 and see if they'll drop the price.

On the high end of normal, depending condition.  "very good" in the mil surp market ranges from nearly new to only fit for the scrap heap.  The RC k98's seem to be all over the place on pricing.  If what you want is a K98 then consider it.  If all you want is a mauser, look at the various Yugo's.  Price will be much less.

For a standard RC that is on the high side.  Several things could make this rifle worth it, like rare stock type, certain later war models, period correct bands, sight assembly, etc. certain stampings are all pluses.

350, not too terribly high.

think of it this way, average nothing special r/c's with pinged birds are getting 275-300. what's another 50 on a nicer example?

they have increased in price over the past 5 years, so if you want it and it looks good, jump on it.
