If you have a round receiver model, I am told that a Weaver side mount base for a Savage Model 340 will work for the M/N. On the Savage 340 though, the mount seems to push the scope past the bore axis to the right.

Rock Solid It's the one I would use.
Another cool option Not sure this mount is still available, but very cool IMO. Yet another cool option If you want to retain the old sniper look. |

I picked up a kalinka mosin rail and a PSL scope mount. Will fit the rail
