Does anyone know what gun this was originally designed for and issued with?  What kind of price range are these going for?

The M7 was intended for crew-served artillery and was never fitted to a rifle.

MHR is the Minneapolis Honeywell Regulator Co. They would later shorten their name to just Honeywell.
