good order except the K-31 ammo is .50 cents a round as well as .303 prvi partisan. The M39 and K98 will be better deals considering how cheap and readily available the ammunition is.

Yeah the deciding factor is ammo. If ammo cost is no object, I vote k31. I love mine. Otherwise the k98.

All of the above, of course.
IMO, I'd say a K-98 or M-39, first, just depending on which you find the best deal on first. Since K-31s are still a bit common, I'd put itoff for abit, as the prices on the others just continue to keep rising. |

The K-31 would be my vote. Hard to find any surplus rifle as accurate and fun to shoot. Ammo is only costing me .36 per round from MidwayUSA

Brass and bullets are easily had to reload the K31. I am very impressed with mine. For less than $100 you will have an exceptional rifle. The MKI is a nice rifle and reloading components are readily available for .303. I hear the Finns are very nice too.

I voted for the M39. I think the K31 is the nicest milsurp rifle out there, but the ammo is expensive and the best thing you can do to improve your shooting is to shoot. A lot. And 7.62x54R is cheaper than any centerfire rifle round I know of. Sportman's Guide has 880 rounds of Polish light ball for like $65. You just can't beat it, it's good, clean, accurate ammo.
