I'm finally placing my order for my service grade Garand Monday from CMP, then the dreaded 60-90 day wait begins!  This will be my first Garand and I'm really excited over this purchase.  In the meantime I think I'm gonna go for another K98 with all the markings intact.  I kinda hate buying a gun that I already own one of, but for some reason I really like these Mausers.    I've yet to buy a 91/30 or a SKS, but as cheap as they are and as popular as they are I think I can wait a couple more months before I buy those.  What's your next buy?

I already have a K31 in beech. My next purchase is going to be a tiger striped walnut K31. It might just be a "scare tactic", but alot of importers are saying that these are the last shipments of the Swiss K31- now may be your last chance. I will be getting a Garand as well, but I have decided to actually travel to the north store in Ohio and pick mine out personally. That trip will have to wait for the spring/summer.

Carefull.  I said the same thing about Enfield Jungle Carbines too.  Some folks said the same about CZ52 pistols too.

I'm looking at the 1903's that CMP has for sale.

OOOh, That is nice.

I'd really like to get a C&R TT33 Tokarev pistol to be a companion to my SVT-40 rifle.

Garand for me. I haven't bought a gun in a long time. I'm not sure if I will go with Service grade or Correct grade. Not sure when either

I really need an enfield, put off buying one of the Mk4 no1's that AIM had up a few weeks ago, figured they'd still be there by now.

One of the gunstores here in town has both a 1944 Remington Rand M1911A1 and a 1918/19 Colt M1911...if either of those are still around when my tax refund arrives, I plan on grabbing it.

If not, I'm looking at a Finn Mosin, probably an M39.

Over the last two months I have picked up a number of items that I did not need, but grabbed them anyway. Lately it seems that I walk in somewhere and see something and bam I'm laying money down.

Non-import k98 ,Finn 91,Finn Dragoon, Swede M-38, and a 1917.

Next one should be something new maybe on the lines of a .45 or SBR my Krink.

I just ordered a M39 from gunsnammo.  Can't wait to see how accurate it is.  Don't know how long Bill will leave it on his site but here it is

I have a RRA LAR-10 on order...

But I'm guessing that I'll stumble across something(s) between now and when the LAR-10 gets delivered...

I haven't seen it yet, but I will know it when I see it.  Probably a Mauser or a Mosin Nagant.   U.S. rifles are priced a bit high for me so I only have 1 Garand and 1 '03 Springfield.

Until today I would have said "M/N M44". That's why I went to the pawnshop this afternoon. Didn't have one, but they did have a nice K-31 that came home with me. See my thread below.

What do you name a blonde Swiss girl??
Well, duh!!!!

Heidi, of course.

Well, I'm *planning* for my next purchase will be one of the following:

K31, M38, or M44

Of course, something may jump in there instead...but that's what I'm planning.

Gotta get the RPK finished first.

Just yesterday at the gun show: Yugo M48A. Fully matching serial numbers, including the number on the stock. $200. My first Mauser. The four others I found for sale at another table for $40 less looked significantly worse. No accessories came with it. I've been wanting a Mauser for years.

My next is probably going to be a receiver and compliance parts for my FAL kit. A K31 or Swedish Mauser might come first, though. My Nagant looks like it could use a buddy.

Toss up! An FR-8 or 91 Argentine Mauser in a local shop. Maybe both!

Nice Yugo GunLogic!
