I sent in my application in early November and they cashed my check in mid Nov.

I have called a couple of times and my application is pending.

I live in Texas.

Should I try to talk to the person handling my application or just continue waiting.

Is anyone else in Texas waiting this long?

I'd talk to the ombudsman about this one.

Just got mine today. Took less than a month.

Call or email. I emailed a question and was answered within hours.

Texas- that should be here by now. Unless there was a problem with the background check.

The license and a package showed up in the mail yesterday (3/21). A duplicate package showed up today.

It took almost 4 months from the day they cashed the check. No explainations. The backgroud check should have been ok. I just renewed by texas CHL and received my Florida chl license in Dec. Both took the normal amount of time.

I sent the app on 02/23/06 and got the License todays 03/24/06
I'm planing my next buy........
