shot a bunch of the 7.62x54r SP 203grn. packs a punch on both ends out of an M44. NOT corrosive. paid around $5 per box IIRC (been awhile)

I use it for hunting and comp. shooting. Golden bear and Brown bear, between $3 and $5 a box (20rds)
Shoots good, could be a little cleaner and just a hint of oder. I like it. |

i used some in 30-06, & it shot very good 3/4" groups at 100yards.for $4.75 it was a good deal.
think the powder charges aren't very consitent in it, cause from one shot to the next would be louder or have more muzzel blast. |

Guess it's a safe bet I'm not gonna pay the asking price of $9.50/box at the store where I found it.

Tried soem 200gr SP 2 years ago with a M39, scout mounted 4x scope, got the same 2" at 100 my Hung 147gr surp did. But the silly Wolf 200gr SP was 1.5", so the LVE plant must be better than the Tula plant that makes the other AK ammo for them.
