Just bought a underwood M1 carbine and I am looking for some 30 carbine ammo. Can't seem to find any USGI ammo.

If I can't find USGI what does everyone else recommend?

I reload but wanted to pick up the brass from the ammo I buy. Looking for 250-500 rounds with reloadable brass. Suggestions?

Buy some brass and components from gibrass.com and go from there. USGI is going to cost you an arm and a leg if you can find it. The last supply was from the CMP and that dried up a few years ago.

Thanks guys

I think I might roll my own with www.gibrass.com components

Doing the math its about $150/1000 using LC72 brass. That sounds good to me.

Yup, FNM is good stuff. I got some in 8MM. I reloaded some, and I want to tell you, that brass is hard!
