Here are some pics of the M39 "shooter special" I got from AIM the other day.

It is a 1944 VKT barrel on a 1919 receiver.  The stock is brand new post-war.  The magazine assembly is Hungarian.  The bore is shiney and bright.  Bluing is very good.  Overall I am very happy.

There was tape wrapped around the stock.  Any Ideas how to remove the glue?

Very nice for a "shooter's special".

How can you tell the mag assembly is Hungarian?

The serial number starts with "BC"  and there is a Hungarian stamp on it.

I've used "Goo Gone" to remove tape residue with great results.
