Here are some pics of the M39 "shooter special" I got from AIM the other day.
It is a 1944 VKT barrel on a 1919 receiver. The stock is brand new post-war. The magazine assembly is Hungarian. The bore is shiney and bright. Bluing is very good. Overall I am very happy.  There was tape wrapped around the stock. Any Ideas how to remove the glue?   New rifle with it's new older brother (1942 Sako)

The serial number starts with "BC" and there is a Hungarian stamp on it. |

I've used "Goo Gone" to remove tape residue with great results.
