Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question from a rookie on a Swiss K-31

I have a reloading manual showing that the 7.5x55 round uses a .308 diameter bullet.  I was wanting to buy one of these rifles and reload for it, but want to confirm this bullet size before I turn one of these great rifles into a grenade .  I would greatly appreciate any help you could offer!

Yes, you can use .308 bullets.
