Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - unissued M44?

I'm looking for an unissued M44 for a buddy's birthday.  He shot mine and fell in love with it.  Does anyone know where the best lace to get one is?  It seems they were all over the place a few months ago when I got mine, but I can't find any now.  Anyone know where to get one?  Thanks.

SOG has excellent condition ones in the latest mailer.

AIM has them listed as "super clean refinished to excellent.

I'd be careful using that "unissued" term.  

It usually means unissued since the last rebuild.  More of a sellers term.  There are like new M44's around. I think getting one is more luck than anything.
