Are there any markings on the bayonet?

yeah it looks like a mauser bayonet. yugo maybe?

The only markings I can find are the numbers 34 and 70 stamped on the tang, wg stamped on the blade very small and something else above it that i can't make out, maybe CE or some kind of symbol, and also a very small symbol on the opposite side of the blade that looks like it might be a bird or something. The blade-edge on top is a distinct feature of Czechoslovakian bayonets such as those meant for the 98/22 and CZ-24 (or VZ-24) rifles. The length of yours appears similar to this one on Gunbroker.
My guess would be a CZ-24 bayonet. LL |

Thanks for the info, Lightning Link! Mine appears identical to the one in the link, except the release button is on the opposite side of the handle. The blade length is the same also. Any idea as to the age or value? I gave $8 for mine. I had no idea what it is worth, but I felt like it had to be worth that. Thanks again, Jdman
