A friend gave me some surplus 7.62x54R ammo and it looks like top quality commercial stuff!

It's brass cased. It has a red sealer around the primer. The brass of the case and copper of the bullet is bright and shiney. New looking boxes with the words 7.62 METAK on it.

Is it corrosive and what's the grain weight of the bullet?

Ahhhh....Yugoslavian....just thought of 7.62x54r.net.

182 grains, too heavy for my PSL.

Is it corrosive?
