Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 30-40 Krag/K31. Either one sound good?

Got 2 old rifles I'm thinking about. A Krag 155xx serial. The guy claims its a carbine. Says its got a front  ramp site like a Rem. and the bbl measures 22".  Thats about all the info I can get out of him, but sounds like a cutdown(?). No pictures. Asking $250. The other one is a K31 from AIM. In cosmoline with select grade walnut wood. $110 +SH. What do you think? Thanks Greg

The Krag is a cutdown, the carbine did not have a ramp on the front sight.

if you are looking for a decent shooting gun with a butter smooth action , get the krag, just be sure to check the bore,,,

K31's are very nice too,,,
so in the arfcom tradition, buy both
