I don't use one, but it sounds like a great idea.

Yup - they work fine. Some actions are too damn long to get into the tub, at least in mine, but for small stuff, pistols or parts they rock.

I have a cheap one that a friend gave me some years ago that I use. I believe it came from a NAPA auto parts store. You have to pump it up to pressurize it (which I usually don't do), but it works great.

I bought two Yugo 59/66.  they were absolutely covered in cosmo.

Took 'em to work, dumped em in the parts washer, and started scrubbing.  Absolutely the easiest, no fuss way to remove cosmo.  I did everything:  Barrel, little parts, even the damned wood.  Wood looked a tad 'dry' when done, but a light coat of breakfree (i use on everything) and these yugos looked great.

I'll never remove cosmo by any other means again.
