I am considering buying a M95 mauser in 7x57 for 90 bucks. The rifle sock is cherry, metel is good. However I was told that the headspace may be out(I will have my gunsmith check).
My question to the Hive mind is, Would it be worth it to have the rifle barrel fixed for headspace or should I take the receiver and have it rebarreled for a custom gun? Is it even possible to have the original barrel reheadspaced? The rifling looks good and sharp BTW.
