Bought an O3A3 ser#3583XXX with '43 barrel (stamped up front) with inspector cartouche and circle-p in original dark green finish for $650.  Is it a good price?

Pictures, we need pictures.

But off hand, the price seems a bit high (too me at least).

You could have got one for $420, but you could not have looked at it before buying.

It's a little high if you compare it to CMP prices.  But it's a good price compared to what I've seen at the funshows this year.  And you got to check it out before the purchase.

Pics!

I have an 03 & I love it.

Done, I haven't got one yet either, I just got my first garand and couldn't be happier.
(everyone should already have the CMP bookmarked already anyway)

No pic yet.  Actually I haven't "bought" it yet, just put a down payment on it.  CMP has ran out of straight stock A3's, and the shop was selling out their stock of A3's at $700-750.

I didn't know that, but what exactly is the difference between a straight stock and a S or scant stock?

OK, I know what the C-stock (pistol grip) is, but is the straight stock like in the pictures the same as the s or scant stock mentioned.

YES, they will be allmost alike.

One of them, and I cant remember which, is a cut down from a  C-stock.
