Mausers are everywhere. SOG,J&G,AIM,Aztec, Coles etc. Just pick up an issue of The shotgun News.
G/K-43's are sky rocketing in price. Expect to pay $700+ for a POS, $1,200 for a decent model, and $1,500+ for a nice rifle. They are fair shooters, but are prone to breakage. |

I wont expect you to find any either. They kinda got lost in time like the STG-44, FG-42 and Tokarev.

STG-44's can be found if you hang around in the right crowds. I could buy any number of them if I wanted to shell out that kind of cash. I have no desire to. They are C&R elligable now though.
SVT-40's are not that hard to find, but Fg-42's...good luck. you wouldn't want to take it out of the house if you had it for what you will pay for it. |

i know someone that has one or two of them. very nice examples too! he also has/had a nice k98 sniper. he's a local collector who's selling all his stuff. it's too rich for my blood so i just stare and ask questions. |

The G43 is my Holy Grail of WWII rifles. I've seen a couple on GunBroker from time to time. Saw a nice one with the sling and optics for around $2k.
NEVER seen one in person. I did see an SVT40 with optics at the Market Hall gunshow up in Dallas last weekend. Didn't see a price on it. I've seen a couple SVT40s at local shows. I think I may have to get one of those some day soon... |
