Which one should I ask my wife to get me for Christmas an M38 or a 91/30?  Here's the one's I'm looking at:

The M38 is basically a short 91/30.  The M38 is a short light rifle but a lot of people think it has a lot of recoil and muzzle blast.

I would not get a M38 if you are recoil or muzzle blast sensative. <G>

I have the C&R so I would actually have to order it.  But technically it would be from her.
