Pre-war Vz-24s with the bent bolt were "cavalry" models. Straight bolt models were infantry.  No other real difference.

Under German occupation, they made more bent bolts than straight because that is what the Germans wanted.

Mine are pretty far back in the safe so I can't look at it to see if it will clear a scope with the angle on the bolt.

Either way it is no big deal, either use higher mounts (which I don't like) or have any decent gunsmith bend the bolt more.

almost all "bent bolts" are not bent enough to clear a scope with anything close to normal height rings.  you either have to cut it off and reweld it, bend it and sweep it, or cut it of and use one of the ugly ATI bolt kits
none are hard to do the easy solution is the 14.00 kit from ati, it comes with a bolt handle, drill, tap and directions.
let me know how your sporter comes along,
if you need any help just holler, also if you need any parts, stocks etc

thanks for the info guys,

i kinda thought the bolt wouldnt be bent enough by looking at the pic of it.

i posted a trade so im gonna wait a while and see if somebody offers one as trade fodder before i go buy one, but if i do end buying one i'll just get the straight one since its cheaper.
