What is the difference in a Yugo 24/47 and a 48?

The bent bolt handle on the 48's is the major difference.

I've been told the build quality is higher on the older rifles.

You can find the 48's and 48a's in perfect condition.

My M48 is a little finicky about hard bolt lift and pressure signs with some ammo.  It loves the Romanian.

Yugo 24/52c : Reworked Czech VZ 24 remarked with commie crest.

The 24/47 uses under stock sling swivels and has slightly different stock bands and a straight bolt.

The 24/52c are just hitting the market and are essentially a reworked VZ 24 which is one of the best 98 mauser type short rifles ever made..
