Anyone know what sorts of rods/cleaning kits to use in these guns besides the original ones? Thanx.

I just use a regular rifle rod with a patch loop.

I always disassemble, wipe-down and lube the bolt, as well.

A good quality one piece stainless steel rod should be all you need.  As long as the barrel is on those things I wouldn't use a sectional rod.  Sectional steel or aluminum rods tend to flex a bit.  The stainless steel one piece rod won't flex as you're patching/mopping/scrubbing/jagging the bore.  I prefer brass patch holders and spear point jags for my rifles.  Good quality bronze .30 cal bore brushes is what you need for your K-31.

Sorry I meant something more to the effect of:

Is it okay to use .30 calibre rods in these guns? Seeing as how 7.5 = .295 calibre.

Yeah, it's ok.

I've been shooting my reloads with .308 150 grain Sierra Matchkings.

Use them in the 7.5 French too.
