Can't find any reliable info on this anywhere.
Anyone have a clue what torque to use for direct-mount scope rings on the T1X??

Who makes your rings?  I assume they did not supply you with instructions or specifications.

Don't know about direct mounted scope rings, but my DIP scope mount base recommends 7-8 INCH POUNDS with purple Locktite to mount the base onto the receiver.

Rings to base torque on Vortex rings is 30 In/lbs.

Rings to scope torque on Vortex rings and Vortex scopes is 18 in/lbs

25 in/lb for the base and 15 in/lb for the rings seem pretty common on the low end.

I looked up EGW installation instructions.  They recommend 20 in/lbs for their scope bases.
