I recently picked up the all stainless AMT 25/22 and did a video comparison with the gun it is based on, the Ruger 10/22. This sucker is heavy but is built like a tank.

I almost bought an AMT Lightning the day I turned 18 and purchased my first over-the-counter gun.

Bought a 12ga Mossberg 500 instead, and have regretted that choice to this day.

(Nothing against the 500 in general, FTR, just in retrospect I would have gotten more enjoyment out of the Lightning and would probably still have it today.)
