I use the weaver see-through rings that you can get at Walmart

I've been using the factory rail that comes with the rifle and Burris Signature Zee rings to mount my scopes.

I recently got a 10/22 which I installed the factory rail. I tried mounting a cheap Simmons 22 mag 3-9x32 that came with its own rings. I mounted using the thin top rail but it looks like the rings are canted just a small amount. I know they are cheap rings, but they should still mount up level/flush right? Or am I using the wrong size rings?

I don't have a 10/22 but I do have dnz rings on my savage and they are awesome.
