I've got a 10/22 tactical takedown coming soon and was wondering what the best fit for it is of all the red dot sights. I have an older EoTech I will throw on and see if I get a good check weld, but not sure if I should get one of those Primary Arms ones or something else?

I'd like for it to fit in the case that comes with it.

I put a Millett Multi-dot on mine.  I used Warne QD rings so I can pop it off if I feel like using the iron sights.

Good suggestions so far. And just to clarify, I am looking for zero magnification.

ETA:  I love that multi cam stock. I wish I was getting it, but mine will be in black.

I used a Primary Arms with an Aimpoint mount, but the mount was almost as expensive as the RDS.  IIRC I got the mount from Optics Planet on sale with a coupon to reduce the cost, but it was awhile back so I can't remember for sure.

I like it, it looks great. But why not use the Ruger rail that came with the rifle?

I liked the clean lines better

I wish I had gotten one of those silver Aimpoint R1 that were discontinued out years ago...

Looks like I'll get either the Bushnell TRS25 or the Primary Arms red dot.

Didn't Primary Arms have a deal (last year black friday?) on some model of red dot, making it like $50 or so???????????

Get the bushnell TRS25......unlike the primary arms red dot they are waterproof to a certain depth......also I used fingernail polish remover to wipe off the yellow bushnell logo they print on the side......I don't like my gear with logos on it.

Although many are reporting high repeatability of zero with re-assembly I think that the best option is a scout type setup that places the option on the barrel. Some one here modded a RDS (fastfire type) in to the dovetail on his takedown (not sure who that was).

Racking the bolt five or six times after reassembly but before firing does seat the barrel.

For take-downs, I prefer mounting on the barrel:

As much as I like the looks of your 10/22 TD, I've never liked scout style scopes.

Although, yours tempts me to try one again.

I've got my Aimpoint H-1 micro on my Take Down.  It is working well with the Tech Sight aperture sight.

I mounted a Leupold Prismatic that I wasn't using. Super clear glass and not dependent on batteries.
