I have a question, one that I am not entirely sure has been brought up before, according to kidd it is suggested that the barrel not be too clean or too dirty to maintain its most accurate state. My question is I live next to the ocean, as in like 5 miles away from the ocean, will the threat of salt and corrosion be an issue if I do not clean as suggested? I know I can clean everything else fine, and I know the barrel is stainless steel, but I am not sure.

Stainless steel is rust resistant, but not rust proof.  High salt environments are an issue. Get some good rust protectant.  There are a few reviews on the subject but Eexoz works well.

You don't need to clean often, but you'll definitely want to run a patch of something with some protection in it (like breakfree clp or eezox) through the bore after every time you shoot (and put the gun up for more than a few hours).  It wouldn't hurt to run a dry patch through to clear out the protectant before you shoot too.
