Items offered for sale MUST be posted in the EE. That said, not much. The bolt will have to be bought––from Ruger, no doubt, and headspaced by them. I dunno if they'd even attempt it if the upper wasn't assembled to a lower, as that makes a difference, also. The frame of the pistol is what makes the thing mimic a 1911, not the upper. I'd swap it to a gunsmith for some work. |

Keep in mind the upper has the serial number. Does anyone sell lowers? The price of a lower may help you determine the value of the upper.

Just so I understand, You have to headspace it? How does tactical solutions sell uppers for you to replace and you do not have to headspace. Also it was not for sale, just a question.

I am pretty sure the headspace is pre set and brownells sells bolts
The problem is the lack of lowers. Which is why you and me and every other fool who bought a tac sol upper has a useless topend now |

After setting up this.
I chucked my spare upper in the lathe to play around and made this. 
Stripped upper sold for $75 |

I'm pretty sure there is no headspace issues in a .22 rimfire pistol.

I paid $90.00 shipped to my FFL for a MKIII barrel upper/receiver. It was a 6" bull barrel - I cut it to 4.5" and threaded it.
