Found a Winny 69A at a local gunshop.  Just looking for info/opinions

That's a nice looking 22.



I had a 69A many years ago, ended up trading it for a Mauser 45 Mas.



I read a few posts down where someone wrote that it was potentially a target model.



I agree that the sight might indicate that.  I know mine didn't have the peep.  



It would behove you to do a little research, and see exactly what you have.



I sort of miss mine, it was a little tack driver, but then again my mauser is no slouch either.



Enjoy, you've got a fine .22 to play with there.

I had a 69a NM that was unbelievably accurate with about any standard veloctiy ammo.  1st divorce took care of that one.  Good buy.
