I want a front sight that works with a threaded bull barrel (TacSol).  Solution, NoDak Spud makes one.

Now I want a flip up or quick detach rear sight (ala AR15) that will mount to a Picatinny or Weaver scope base behind a red dot.  Who makes that?

What stock are you using?

I'm thinking the cheek weld/eye alignment will be the hard part.  Obviously any AR flip up rear sight would fit the Picatinny rail, but would sit very high for a cheek weld with a typical wood stock.

Blackhawk Axiom.  Cheek weld won't be the issue, the offset height of front and rear sites will be.  A standard AR sight will be too high to get a .22 to zero I believe.

You could use a 10/22 quadrail forearm and a set of flip up Magpul MBUS sights.

Kinda like this...

or this..

Monkeyman, thanks for the idea, and pics.  That looks sharp, but I want to stay VERY light weight, so I'm married to the Axiom stock.

Axiom with Tech sights is your best bet.  4 lbs.

This is an Evo with AR 15 sights.  Rear is A2 elev. adj sight.  Front is DPMS bull barrel(.936) A2 sight.
Rear sight requires 0.75" base total height.  Front sight requires beer can(full round) shim to fit a .920 bull.  The barrel can be dimpled for the set screw, or left alone with red loctite it will work fine.  Zeros at 25 yds easy.

With the Axiom, the AR sights/cheek weld will be awful unless you have a very long face.

You can go as high or low with the sights as you want, just keep the front and rear sight the same height off of the centerline of the bore of the gun.

How light is the Axiom stock?? Reason I ask is bc Im working on a light weight build and got a hogue OM stock and tacsol bull bbl and Id like to compare the difference in weight with the Axiom vs Hogue OM stocks.
