I have an older 10/22 rifle all metal parts, but the factory trigger is the
heaviest pull I have ever experienced ever in the a rifle of any kind so
I need to ask what is a good trigger kit for 10/22? Looking for springs,
hammer, disconnect, sear, and trigger. I have rifle at the smith now
so I need to buy a kit and have him install it into the rifle.

Any help will be appreciated.

Dude you need to get your hammer stoned. While you at it do the auto bolt release mod. If you want to buy new parts I would recommend Volquartsen or Power Custom.

I've got the Tony Kidd in mine. It's fantastic.

+1 - Kidd FTW!  Top tier, no competition.

The best value for the money, IMO, may be Rimfire Technologies (http://www.rimfiretechnologies.com/)

PowerCustom hammer and sear, about$60., unless you have $300 for a KID.

You need a Kidd trigger.

All others are crap in comparison.  Yes, I've tried them.

I have one on the way as I type. "$$$$" is right, lol. But what the hell...as high as the quality is reputed to be, the price is worth it. For a less costly trigger, I liked the PC kit that included the adjustable sear, adj. trigger, the hammer, and assorted shims, springs, etc. For less than a hundred bones, it gives you a pretty damned good trigger, and is fairly easy to install and set up. This is the kit I was going to get, but I decided to splurge this go 'round. Besides, I like a 2-stage trigger.
