A friend gave me a lever action Ithica Model 72 a few years ago.  It was in rough shape then, and I haven't done anything with it since.  Mechanically it seems fine.  The bore does not appear to have any rust or pitting.  The exterior of the barrel has rust spots all up and down the length, and there are oxidation spots on the aluminum receiver.

As it was free, I can't really complain.  I'm wondering if it would be worth my while to try and clean it up for a shooter, or just sell it as-is.  What is one of these things worth when in good shape?
