My friend just got his first .22, a Winchester model 67A.  It originally belonged to his great-grandfather so it was probably built back before WWII.  It is in practically brand new condition, but it's been stored for ages.  I told him it would probably be a good idea to give it a thorough inspection prior to taking it out for the first time.  Is there anything unique to this little rifle that I should know about before I help him field strip and thoroughly clean it?  Thanks.  MJD

My father has an old 69a(similar to 67a but takes magazines) that has been past down through the family, the safety is not very durable so be cautious when stripping it, my dads now fires on safe!!
