BSA Sweet 22 scope?

Anyone have one of these? If so, watcha think?

I was wondering if the trajectory compensation works. Sounds interesting with the three drums for 36-, 38- and 40-grain bullets.

Also, the only place I can find them is at Cabela's. Is there anywhere else?

I have looked through one of these and for the $$$ thought the optics were very good. No color fringing and a nice flat field. I E-mailed them about the AO air gun scopes on 22 rifles and was told that they would work fine. I have not bought it yet but when/if I do I'll conceder it a low dollar scope, and judge it accordingly. If I spend $100.00 on a P.O.C., my bad.. If I spend A LOT and get a P.O.C., well that would be a problem!

I was also looking at BSA's Platinum series. Which do you guys think is a better deal?

I'm not expecting this to be a Leupold or anything. I just want a decent scope that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. No offense guys, but this is just for a no frills Model 597 LS HB. I have other rifles that get the best stuff.

The Cabelas Pine Ridge series is pretty decent for the price

BSA is crap in the long run you are going to look at it in a few months and be like. Why?

on a 22lr, the BSA Platnums are awsome.

I've used one for 2 years now without a hitch. (no problems with anything at all)

I will 100% reccomend the BSA 8-32x44 for anyone looking for a great 22lr scope.

but then again... I've never used it on a centerfire... (but I have used other BSA scopes that those hold up fine)
