Moreover, instead of using the rifle as a riot control weapon, as originally intended, the Israeli SF deployed the Ruger 10/22 more as a "Hush Puppy" weapon used to silently and effectively eliminate disturbing dogs prior to operations.

The test showed that the Ruger was more lethal than thought especially in upper body injuries.


That's a no-brainer right there.

My personal suppressed .22LR set-up is a Ruger 77/22 with an AAC Pilot suppressor. It's Hollywood quiet, and the rogue 'coons and 'possums that dig in my trash never know what hit 'em.
