It won't eject a spent case, gets jammed sideways crushing the case. Feeds fine other than that.

OK, so we know it's clearing the chamber.
1) Is there a burr on the chamber edge? 2) Does your ejector look OK? (trying to remember, but I believe it's the edge on the mag) 3) Is your buffer still in one piece? 4) Has the roll pin attaching the cocking handle to the bolt crept out at all? Give yours a hug from me. I had to export mine in 92
